Google Alerts Each member of your group needs to set up a Google "alert" on their school email account about the issue. Click on the Google products square in the top of your Google account. Then click on "More" at the bottom, then the click the "even more from Google" link. Your page will now include the "Specialized Search" list.
Click on the "Alerts" link. Then set your preferences. I've clicked on some that you may want to do. These are suggested settings, but you can do what works for you. For example, instead of "News" you could do "Everything" or you could do a "Daily" feed instead of "Once a week." You may also need to modify your query words if you are getting lots of irrelevant information. You can also do multiple alerts if you wish. For example, "Sixth mass extinction," "extinction" and "endangered species."
